Project Updates

Infrastructure Improvements (Bundled Project) -Work began again on the Infrastructure Improvements Project on April 28th after a winter shutdown.  Before the winter shutdown, work was completed on the water main crossing at Route 104 as well as in High Street, Stevens Avenue and Waukewan Avenue.  The remaining elements of work include water, sewer, sidewalk and roadway infrastructure in Water Street and Red Gate Lane as well as final restoration in the Stevens Avenue, High Street and Waukewan Avenue corridors.  The first order of business for the contractor is to complete all water main installations in Water Street and Red Gate Lane.  That work was completed on Friday May 30th.  The contractor will now proceed to install new drainage on Red Gate Lane, complete the sewer line rehabilitation work in Water Street, and complete sidewalk installation and roadway reconstruction In Red Gate Lane and Water Street.  The contractor expects to be substantially complete with this project by the end of July.
