Town Manager

The Town Manager is responsible to the Board of Selectmen, and oversees all departments, develops annual budgets, facilitates projects and project funding. She also holds the position of Personnel Director and Tax Collector. This job entails dedication because the Town Manager is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
After five years of service to the Town of Derry, Carol Granfield has assumed the role of Town Manager of Meredith.
"It's my pleasure to welcome you to the Town of Meredith, NH. As Town Manager I would be happy to assist you with any questions pertaining to the Town. I joined the wonderful community of Meredith in January, 2004. I've been with the public sector for over thirty years with previous positions in New Hampshire, Maine and Virginia. Meredith is a Main Street community and is involved with tourism, economic development, customer service to our citizens and transportation and growth issues. Meredith has been recognized as a 2005 America in Bloom Champion as well as the 2005 Outstanding Main Street Community. As part of the Lakes Region, Meredith offers the community and visitors a wide range of activities and services.
