SAFETY NOTICE FROM SOLID WASTE

Residents disposing of hypodermic needles and syringes at the Town of Meredith Solid Waste Facility are asked to place them in sealed, rigid plastic bleach or soap bottles and label bottles "NOT FOR RECYCLYING". Please do not mix these bottles in with your recyclables. This is a hazard to our employees. Dispose of them with your regular trash. Your cooperation in complying with this safety policy is appreciated.




The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Meredith will hold a session for additions and corrections to the voter checklist on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 between the hours of 7:00 and 7:30 p.m. for the State Primary Election, at the Meredith Town Hall, 41 Main Street, Meredith, NH. Voters already registered cannot change party affiliation until after the State Primary Election. No additions or corrections shall be made to the checklist after this session until election day.


Volunteers for Meredith Board The Board of Selectmen is seeking volunteers to serve on Town Boards and Commissions. There are vacancies as alternates on the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment. Anyone interested in being considered to serve on one of these boards should complete a Volunteer application and forward it to the Town Manager's office at pwarren@meredithnh.org.
